My audition for" Hush" was at 11:04 AM today, down at USC. I'm finally going to college! lol Actually, I have donated my body for research to USC I did it after visiting my mom in Sioux City, Iowa. She better just live forever and she's so mean , she probably will. I've saved my son or whoever would have to bury me at least $10,000 these days!! And the aggavation and tears and all that mushy stuff that goes along with funerals and weddings.. My scene was to read a bedtime story to my son. I am leaving him, abandoning him, running away from an abusive husband. So they wanted different facial and voice emotions in the reading of this sweet little story. It was about saying, "Goodnights" to the walls, the picture of a cow jumping over a moon and a bowl of mush on the table and a little old lady who keeps saying,"Hush",well just everything in the bedroom of the little boy's. Gosh , I remember when I had to be on location away from my son, Chance and well, it was easy. I just fell apart. Sobbing thru the whole thing. I've always been very good at changing from one emotion to another. The director Perry Finley called about a half hour ago. We are shooting on location and I will be first up cause I have been invited to the Long Beach Film Festival to answer questions from the audience. And Perry wants me to go. The Festival starts at 4 and goes on and on I'm told and Steve Nave a director, actor, producer and head of the Casting Workshop I've been going to is in charge and invited me. Of course the Filming takes precedence. Steve is alright with that. He is such a pro!
